Fly Package Details

This selection includes the following patterns:

  • 4 Tungsten Flashback Birdnest Nymphs | Size 16
  • 4 Hanging Indicator Midges | Size 22
  • 4 Harrop's CDC Biot Blue Winged Olive Emergers | Size 20

All patterns are correct to size in this main product image. This selection is ideal for dry fly and subsurface fishing days on western tailwaters throughout the month of November. Midges and Blue Winged Olives will generally begin hatching at the peak heat of the day—between noon and 3pm. You'll want to fish nymphs before and after fish become active on the surface. This is an excellent selection for places like the South Fork of the Boise River, the lower Big Lost River below Mackey Reservoir and, of course, the Madison River in Montana.

Fishing Accessories

Set yourself up for success when fishing these styles of patterns. When fishing technical waters, I find that having the right tools is necessary and makes for a better overall experience.
