Fly Pattern & Fishing Details

The CDC Fertile Caddis is an adult egg-laying pattern we fish towards the end of the day. As the evening turns to dusk trout will key in on these adults and target them through the late evening hours. These are the patterns we fish after dark and often blind cast to areas where we hear fish rising and slashing on caddis returning to drop their egg sacks. The profile is high-riding and perfect for low light fishing conditions.
