Fly Pattern Details

The "Cripple" style profile is a solid option when you're competing with the hatch—when there are so many naturals on the water that fish become selective. At certain times, trout will focus their attention on insects that are vulnerable, knocked down, in a between-phase of emergence and/or stuck in the surface tension. These are times when fishing the cripple becomes a great option.
