Fly Pattern & Fishing Details

The CDC Biot Emerger is probably our best-producing pattern in BWO series. It's extremely versatile and covers a range of emergence and vulnerability phases throughout the hatch. You'll want to fish these when trout are refusing natural duns on the surface. Often times they'll look for insects stuck in the surface tension. This is where this fly shines. Long leaders, stack casts and precision timing and placement are a must.
