The CDC Biot Dun is another high-riding, highly visible sailboat style dun option we like to fish when trout are feeding consistently on the surface. We fish these when fish are in their rhythm, eating repetitively and comfortably picking off duns in their feeding lies.
The Tying Recipe
- Hook: Tiemco 100/100BL (size 20-24)
- Thread: Black 8/0 UNI-Thread or Veevus 10/0
- Tail: Split Micro Fibbett Fibers
- Abdomen: Nature's Spirit Stripped Goose Biot (Black/Male & Green/Female)
- Thorax: Nature's Spirit Fine Natural Dubbing in Black
- Wing: White CDC
- Legs: 6-8 Dun Antron Fibers
